“SR Inc’s approach and deep expertise have earned our trust as a partner in our renewable electricity procurement journey. Their diligent, reliable, and swift support, coupled with their robust approach to financial analysis, sets them apart in the market. SR Inc has been a trusted advisor through multiple VPPA procurements totaling 291 MW in Europe and North America, including a value chain-aligned procurement with a supplier to address both Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions simultaneously. SR Inc consistently demonstrates that they have the best interests of the buyers at heart, providing proposal evaluations and risk assessments that is equal to or better than competitors with whom we have worked."
Matthew Yamatin
Sustainability Program Director, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Their ability to effectively negotiate with developers while fostering relationships and balancing priorities among buyers in aggregated deals demonstrates their commitment to achieving the best outcomes for their clients. Sustainability Roundtable excels at always keeping the buyers' best interests at heart while facilitating successful multi-party transactions in close communication with the developer.”

"Sustainability Roundtable, Inc. has been a critical partner in Biogen's renewable energy procurement, guiding us through the signing of three VPPAs in the United States and now an LOI for one in Europe. Their team provides tailored and practical evaluations that prioritize our specific corporate interests while supporting us with senior management engagement at every step. SR Inc's approach ensures our VPPA procurement seamlessly aligns with our decarbonization goals, offering expert guidance that helps us navigate complex VPPA transactions while avoiding potential strategic missteps."

“Aggregating corporate buyers is a critical approach in transitioning to renewable energy, as it helps bring new capacity to the electricity market and opens up the market to smaller buyers. One of Cisco’s strategic sustainability priorities is to help accelerate the transition to clean energy, and we are proud to have played a leading role in negotiating and executing this deal in partnership with Sustainability Roundtable, Inc. and our six fellow offtaking companies.”
Andy Smith
Director of Global Energy & Sustainability, Cisco
"SR Inc’s NZCB made it possible for PTC to take a significant step forward on our net-zero journey. Their team’s practical guidance, innovative transaction structure, and focus on buyer needs set them apart. NZCB’s close collaboration with our accounting and treasury departments helped us clearly quantify the business value of these transactions and demonstrate that renewables procurement can make deep financial sense. We’re proud to be part of a community that’s not just talking about sustainability, but causing new renewable energy at scale."
Dave Duncan
Vice President of Sustainability, PTC
“Akamai has led the way in innovative renewable energy projects since 2018, when we were a part of the United States’ first corporate aggregated VPPA. Today we are proud to continue that legacy by participating in the largest aggregation to date.”
Mike Mattera
Director of Corporate Sustainability, Akamai
“This new global climate [approach] not only strengthens our record of accelerated progress toward net-zero emissions, but it also underscores our collaborative approach on this journey. By working together with customers who share our vision for a healthier planet, we can achieve even greater impact across our collective value chains. We thank Eurofins for partnering with us on this meaningful action and ib vogt for the opportunity to expand our virtual power purchasing efforts beyond the U.S.”
Marc N. Casper
Chairman, President, and CEO, Thermo Fischer Scientific
“Intuit is committed to delighting our customers and they have made clear they would like us powered by renewable energy. We have appreciated the SR Inc REPS team’s leadership in helping to create a model of shared services and buy-side aggregated VPPAs that has the potential to deliver cost-positive renewable energy for every enterprise that is creditworthy and able to make a long-term commitment to cause new renewable energy. It has made it possible to meet our goal of 100% renewable energy ten years early and to move to a more aggressive goal: climate positive ‘50 times by 30’ target that would result in a reduction of 2 million metric tons of carbon dioxide by 2030.”
Sean Kinghorn
Global Sustainability Leader, IntuitWhy Choose the NZCB as Your Trusted Partner in Decarbonization?
Since 2017, the Net Zero Consortium for Buyers (NZCB) has supported scores of industry-leading companies in the pre-construction financing of over 1.1 GW of new renewable energy globally through "the VPPA 2.0" - our proprietary buyer-favorable transaction process and structure.
Our proven, buy-side-only reverse auction model eliminates conflicts of interest, reduces transaction friction, and delivers unmatched impact per megawatt procured.
- Zero upfront costs or exclusivity commitments to explore participation.
- Multiple aggregated buyer-directed procurements year-round across North America, Europe, and now increasingly Asia, aligned with member demand.
- Deals structured around Purchaser-Caused EACs (PC EACs)—not unbundled certificates or developer-led deal structures—so your commitment is unequivocally tied to net new capacity.
- Through blind reverse auctions, developers compete for pre-financing commitments that are buyer-directed, not seller-led. Driving risk-adjusted outcomes and better-than-break-even procurement opportunities in many markets.
- Smaller offtakes (5-50MWs) allow for diversification across multiple markets, technologies, developers, and timelines.
- Through value-chain-aligned aggregated procurements (the VPPA 3.0), companies are embracing this solution as an elegant addition to their Scope 3 decarbonization plans.
Now, we invite you to join the next wave of innovation and leadership.
